South Carolina lawmaker wants separate currency for state

The title is misguiding indeed for South Carolina is very far from being the only State concerned with the value and future of the US dollar. Since 1913, the dollar has lost close to 98% of its purchasing power, making today's dollar worth only 2 cents! But once again, old wounds never totally heal and the implied " title" is aimed at depicting South Carolinians as a bunch of secessionist trying to break away from the United States.

No, they are merely concerned with the irresponsible monetary policy of the Fed and its inflationary program of dollar debasement that will absolutely, if it isn't already, shackle the lives of millions. The US constitution states that only Gold is money and the US governments have for more than a century now steered away from the country's Law: The constitution.

The interesting aspect of the entire matter is that while a lot of people are rightfully concerned with the State of the EU experiment, one can wonder if the paper dollar experiment will survive much longer?

Now that's something to tinker about!
